The band will be backlit as they perform in a viciously shiny
and semi-reflective darkened space. The floors and walls in
this room will look like slick, sheer glass and we can use our
lighting to emphasize band reflections and instrument light
hits. Sekou will be shot in close ups with an 11.2 angle shutter
thatll make every movement powerful and full of force.
For this section the band will appear as stark silhouettes that
emphasize form versus texture. The lights will be positioned
out of view so that the silhouetting feels strangely alien.
It will seem to defy the laws of lighting and tease the eye.
A large crane will capture a majority of our shots so that we
can move in full 3D around the band and this will give us a
chance to use some speed ramping techniques to move the band
from slow motion to fast, larger than life action
