“Superhoney” Video Treatment Excerpt

Shawn Maher – Sundog Films
…The video opens to a tight close up of an attractive black woman’s mouth. She smirks then laughs, in sync with the track’s opening, and we see that her large perfect teeth are glowing cleanly into camera and that the rest of her mouth is dyed a saturated purple. We are pulled and matrixed into her mouth and deep into her body. We come to a large black velvet curtain that opens up as we approach it. Two attractive women, glowing with fluorescent paint, are playing patty cakes in ultra slow motion and yet in time to the claps at the beginning of the track – wet gleaming paint sprays out from their hands with each contact.

The camera continues it's move towards the large velvet curtains and as they open up we get a closer look at the scene beyond them. We see Edwin and the rest of the band as they begin to perform. They are all on a black glass surface that shines with a slick sheen, reflecting light in all directions. The key light is a large Xenon that shines on the band from behind rimming each one of them and pulling them out from the background. We crane in on Edwin with a majestic camera move that pulls us in close as he sings to camera. We see him in a close-up that will serve to lock Edwin’s face in the minds of the audience and then we make use of our shutterless camera that will blur the image on the screen in a unique and captivating manner...
